I’m Liz Allan, and I founded Inner Wisdom because I believe every woman already holds the wisdom she needs. Sometimes it just gets buried under the noise of everyday life, other people’s expectations, or a season that has asked more of us than we had to give.
For many years, I worked in the corporate world as a business improvement consultant, spending my days helping organisations and the people within them work better and navigate change.
Underneath it all, what held my attention was people: how they were doing, what they needed, and what got in their way.
In recent years, that same curiosity turned inward. I began an inner journey of my own, working with mentors and healers to uncover gifts I now realise I’ve carried since childhood, something many people come to recognise in their own time, in their own way.
Alongside Reiki and Crystal Healing, I’ve developed a real interest in a wider range of practices, including the angelic realm and shamanism, though I’ve trained formally in Reiki and Crystal Healing, and these are the ones I offer as sessions here.
My own path here has involved a fair amount of listening, unlearning, and slowly getting to know myself again. That’s part of why this work matters so much to me. I don’t offer Reiki and Crystal Healing because I have all the answers. I offer them because I know what it feels like to lose touch with yourself, and how meaningful it is to find your way back.
How I work
Inner Wisdom is a one-to-one, women-only practice, held in a dedicated treatment room at my home in Caversham, near Reading. Sessions are unhurried and private. Before we begin, you’ll complete a short, confidential intake form so I understand your history and what you’re hoping for. Afterwards, you’ll receive simple aftercare guidance to take with you.
I hold clear professional boundaries, and I will always tell you honestly what Reiki and Crystal Healing can and cannot offer. Neither is a substitute for medical care, and I will never suggest otherwise.
Some people know Reiki, some know Crystal Healing, and not everyone knows both. At its core, I offer directed, intuitive energy healing, channelled through me to support you. Reiki and Crystal Healing are the trained, named forms that energy tends to take, sometimes one, sometimes the other, sometimes both moving together, guided by what you need rather than a fixed method.
Qualifications
I am a qualified Reiki Practitioner (Usui Reiki) and a fully qualified Crystal Healer, having completed my Level 4 Diploma in Crystal Healing with the British Academy of Crystal Healing (BACH), an FHT- and IPHM-accredited course.
Insurance and Code of Ethics

Why this Work?
I don’t believe healing is something I do to you. My role is to hold a safe, honest space and to offer these practices with care and integrity, while you do the real work of reconnecting with your own inner wisdom. My hope is always that you leave a little more grounded, a little more yourself, and a little more able to trust what you already know.
