Your Energy Healing in Caversham, near Reading

Inner Wisdom has a quiet, private energy healing room in Caversham, on the north bank of the Thames and just across the river from Reading town centre. It is a space for women ready to slow down and reconnect with themselves through Energy Healing, which draws on Reiki, Crystal Healing, and intuitive guidance. I welcome women from across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and the wider South East, and sessions are also available online from anywhere.

A calm space, set aside for you

My healing room is something I’ve worked on for a long time. It feels warm, welcoming and safe, and it has a lovely vibe that I notice myself every time I step inside. I use soft, purple throws and plump pillows so that every woman who comes feels comfortable and at home, and the room is gently scented with rose and lavender. It holds many of my favourite crystals, which help to balance the energy of the space. It isn’t a large room, but it’s just right for this work. Nothing is rushed: you arrive, settle, and are met with warmth and without expectation.

Why Caversham is such a mindful place to visit

Caversham feels like a village, with the River Thames on its doorstep. Within a short walk or drive, you’ll find riverside gardens, open meadows, ancient woodland, and the edge of the Chilterns. It is easy to leave the noise of the day behind here.

Caversham Court Gardens

A historic riverside garden beside the Thames and one of Caversham’s best-loved quiet corners. It is free to visit and open every day except Christmas Day, from 8 am until dusk. A small charity-run tea kiosk is open Wednesday to Sunday, weather permitting. More about Caversham Court Gardens.

Christchurch Meadows and Hills Meadow

A large, open meadow on the north bank of the Thames, running from Caversham Bridge to Reading Bridge. Beyond it, Hills Meadow has paths beside a tree-lined backwater. The wide sky and the sound of moving water make it a lovely place to unwind.

The Thames Path towards Mapledurham

The Thames Path passes Caversham Court, so it is easy to continue along the river for a longer walk to Mapledurham House and its old watermill.

Clayfield Copse

On the northern edge of Caversham, Clayfield Copse is a local nature reserve of meadow and ancient woodland, with a sculpture trail. It became Reading’s first local nature reserve in 1991. A good choice if you want a walk and to listen to birdsong. Link to Friends of Clayfield Copse

Caversham Heath, Chazey Wood and the Chilterns

For a longer walk, the loop through Caversham Heath and Chazey Wood leads towards the Chilterns National Landscape, with bluebells in spring.

My own favourite place

I’m lucky that my home backs onto a lovely wood, where red kites fly overhead during the day, and robins, blue tits and great tits fill the garden with birdsong. There’s a pretty meadow close by too, where you can walk in peace and tranquillity. The sound of nature is a big part of why this work feels so natural here, and it’s where I go to take a breath myself.

If you live further away

Distance need not stand in the way. Online sessions and House Dowsing, which is always carried out remotely, are open to women anywhere. You can read more on the Book a Session page.

Begin gently

If you are curious, or not sure whether this is right for you, you are very welcome to get in touch. A consultation is a chance to talk about what you are hoping for and to check the work suits you. Sessions are a quiet time set aside for you, and every woman’s experience is her own. They complement, and never replace, medical care.
